My Loud & Quiet World
Lin loves her red electric guitar. She carries it everywhere, and nothing makes her happier than playing a power chord. Her idea of a perfect day? Stay inside with snacks and AC, headphones plugged into her amp, play guitar, and fantasize about being a rock star.
Janie was born deaf which she’s been taught is a unique difference, not a limitation. As much as Lin loves her red guitar, Janie loves her explorer backpack. It’s stuffed with tools and gadgets, magnifier, pocket microscope, digital camera, duct tape, string, glue, you name it. Janie’s idea of a perfect day? Go outside, explore and get messy.
Lin and Janie are opposite in almost every way, but discover that those differences actually make their friendship, and the world around them, more fun, interesting, and meaningful.

Gwen's Graphic Novels
Hi, I’m Gwen, and I’m working on ONE BIG GRAPHIC NOVEL about my life—things that really happen and things I make up (because let’s face it, I’m a fantasy nerd). Each episode usually starts with an opportunity or problem in my REAL life (live action), then I draw about it in my GRAPHIC NOVEL (animation). I go back and forth between the two.
Mom says my graphic novels are full of “LIFE SKILLS” like empathy and problem-solving and creativity and communication (Mom is big on self improvement). Me? I’m just trying to tell a great story!
I almost forgot! This is a 7-year journey, so you’re going to see me grow up on the page (and on the screen). Teen angst here I come!

The Proteus
President Lincoln chooses to keep the union together rather than wage civil war over slavery, and thereby puts America on a very different path, leading to a future where slavery still exists on earth—and on the planets earth has colonized.
In that grim future, an experiment in time travel goes terribly wrong, creating a biological shape-shifting monster known as the Proteus. Frank Deadeye, a free African American lawman, has dedicated his life to hunting down the beast. His primary weapon: a prosthesis quantum-microprocessor ring-bot that communicates with his brain by nerve induction. Fusing his consciousness with the bot’s data and analysis, Frank can perform near-superhuman feats.
But when the Proteus escapes, Frank needs to draw on all his training, all his strength, and all his courage. Because not only is the Proteus a living nightmare, but the monster has escaped into a territory more wild and dangerous than any Frank has known: the past. And not just any past. America, 1861.

The Story Circle
The Story Circle is an interactive game that invites you to become a storyteller. You’ll practice storytelling skills with Mateo, then play the game with Alex as your guide. You’ll solve challenges, make decisions that impact the game, and weave a circle of story to bring peace to a broken kingdom.
In addition to being a fun and exciting game, The Story Circle integrates key benefits for young players. We use social emotional learning to help players explore empathy and point of view. And, as research has shown, children who learn to write and tell stories do better in all the Language Arts.
